Capture GTD’s web application provides keyboard shortcuts for hands-free task engagement and review navigation. Shortcuts are disabled when focus is inside a text input, textarea, or content-editable element, so they never interfere with typing.

The Engage screen presents tasks one at a time in a card-based interface. These global shortcuts control card actions.

Notes

  • All global shortcuts (Engage, Review) are only active when no text input has focus.
  • Keyboard shortcuts are currently available in the web application only. The iOS and Android apps rely on platform-native navigation gestures.
  • The Engage and Review screens both provide a keyboard icon button that displays an overlay listing the available shortcuts for that screen.
